Hey guys Im setting up a really low key fun 12 hour run AUGUST 16 from 7 am to 7 pm. Im gonna set up an aid tent in my front yard and get some goodies for everyone. I am renting a porta jon as well. Its gonna cost $95
If 12 hours of running does not appeal to you come out and join for whatever you want to... im gonna try and post this on my website once i get it up and running...
COST IS FREE but bring food and beverages for others. Also It would be great if everyone chipped in $5 or $10 to help me pay for the porta jon and food.
This is at your own risk. I live in a pretty quick neighborhood but it will still be open to traffic. So at every neighborhood intersection you are responsible for yourself.
I welcome any and all runners but you must be responsible for yourself! That means being aware of cars and your hydration/nutrition.
I will provide water, some drinks, some s caps, and some food. if you want to eat something then bring it. food is there until its gone!
COURSE DISCRIPTION This will be near brookhaven marta station in my neighborhood Course is a 1.13 mile loop with about 70 feet of elevation gain per loop and about 60 feet loss each loop. most is freshly paved with a couple speed bumps.
email me if youre interested. slimshaby@mindspring.com
thanks Sean >26.2
address of race starts at 1180 Standard Dr atlanta ga 30319
my cell phone # 404 822 5636
please call before sunday! i will not answer while im running

I'd be interested in doing an 8-12 hour run that weekend. Is this on trail or on the roads in your neighborhood? Hilly or flat?

I'm absolutely horrible at explaining, but if you'll just put the url up I'll modify it so it's a link. Then you can look at the markup to see how it's done Hey Sean, I'm very interested, especially since I just mailed my entry for the Hinson Lake 24 hour ;D Where is the loop posted online? Does it look like this? Sean's Run Like Hellathon <added later> I assume this is run counterclockwise so we face "traffic". BTW, I measured 1.085 miles. </end add>

I'd be up for part of this....not sure how many laps I'll do, but I'm probably good for 3 hours or so. It's only a few miles from my house, so very convenient!!
Cheers, Lucinda

Beth Presten will also be running. We are going to first shoot for a 4hr marathon (you did say it's not on trails, right ;D ) Then, we will keep running after that depending on how hot it is and how we feel.
See you then!

bring some friends to help count laps. ill have some beers in a cooler for them. Sounds like counting laps will be more fun than running. Will a garden hose be available? <GEEK ALERT!> And finally for the geeks: Has it REALLY been 1.25 billion seconds since Jan. 1, 1970 already? May how time flies! </geek alert!>
