Just came across this new company out of Boulder called Newton.

Has anyone purchased a pair?
Please note, these are not trail shoes, but I'm assuming that not everyone is lucky enough to run trail 5 days a week.

If you end up getting a pair, let me know how they work out. The "technology" behind the shoe is pretty interesting, assuming it is more than just marketing. Given the athlete support behind the brand, one would think these are the real deal......but you never know.

I just talked with a buddy's wife who works at a running store in Boston and is absolutely sold on Newtons. She's confident they make her a faster runner and when I pressed her on whether any pair of shoes could really be worth the $175 pricetag, she responded simply "just try them". As I looked at her with a highly skeptical look on my face, she smiled and repeated, "try them, and you won't ever buy anything else."
I'm still skeptical.
