Since I was the one who spent more time enjoying this race than anyone else (both on the trail and at the post-race party, where every other chair was folded before I finally got out of mine) let me be the one to start this thread. What a great race!!! Sarah did an awesome job! The course markings were perfect, the volunteers who stood out in the cold for hours and hours deserve to be sainted, the food was fantastic, love all the swag, etc. etc. etc. THANK YOU! Great job.

I will second that. Sarah was awesome and I am grateful I got in. I want to thank all the volunteers and also want to thank whoever made the chili. It was great.

I'd also like to thank everyone involved for making my first ultra an experience that I'll always treasure. Thanks to Sarah for putting on a great race, thanks to the aid station volunteers and fellow runners who wouldn't let me quit even when I was dehydrated and barely coherent, and thanks for the amazing chili at the end. I found out how far I could keep going and still push myself, but I couldn't have found out without the help of others. A big tip of the hat to all of you. Here's my Garmin elevation map of the course: SportTracks elevation map with the same Garmin data:
