I'm thinking it is only fitting to run 9 miles this Wednesday, 09/09/09. I just have to figure out when. Probably start at 5:00 PM at the Sope Creek parking lot.

Shouldn't you start a 9 o'clock on 09/09/09 for 9 miles. It seems only fitting to keep the theme going.
After you can drink 9 beers. ;D

If I wasn't already, I have definitely earned the title "GUTS Geek". Yesterday afternoon, 9/9/9, I ran 9.99 miles. I went to Sope Creek and ran the trails, then came out at the river and bumped into Chris. We ran together for about 4 or so on the flat track. Then I ran back to the Sope Creek parking lot. When I got there my distance was 9.3, so I figured what the heck" and doubled back a little down the trail so that the final number was 9.99 (I had to do run back and forth across the parking lot too ... just to get it exact ... like I said, I 'earned' the title). When I got to my car I had to text Tony (I felt the need to immediately share the depth of my dorkiness). That's when I noticed my time ... 1:38:59 .... just one second short of 99 minutes! So close to being the perfect runner dork (or more accurately, a dork who runs.)
