I posted this on a older thread, but wanted to start a new thread to see if there was any interest in starting a weekly run at the Chattahoochee river (powers ferry parking) similar to the Tueday runs at KM. I've seen and met so many GUTS members there and think the trails are great especially considering the intown location. I can easily see getting up to 8-10 quality trail miles. open for start times, AM runs 7-7:30am start? PM runs 6-7pm start?
hope to see you out there.

Since Tuesday night is the GUTS group Kennesaw mtn run, we should do another night for the Chattahoochee.
I vote for Thursday afternoons.

i vote for THursdays too. A bunch of us run there on THursdays pretty often
i'd also like to start an every other week track session, for those who like track workouts. I go on Wednesdays. Maybe the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month? Gotta pick a track that is good for most folks. Right now i run at Lovett, which is just inside 285 on Paces (by the river). I am up for other options.

I do my "track work" at the Chattahoochee. Right now I'm just doing quarters, but in the past I would do a half mile fast and then half mile cool down (about 6 repeats). The quarters and halves are easy to do at the River since they have each quarter mile marked. Doing 100 yd sprints, or 220's, are not so easy since they are not marked.
I think Tony and Kena use the track at Marietta High School.

I'd be interested in track session or other weekly trail runs if we could push the start times a little further back to say 7p or 7:30p. I enjoy the weekly GUTS run but my work schedule now keeps me tied up until 6:30-7p.
