This happened on Tuesday so it may be old news to everybody, but I just found out about it. This lady is the parent of one of the kids in my wife's class and an experienced runner. Be careful out there folks! Be aware of what is going on around you!
My wife said that this lady ran away and the guy jumped into his van and hit her with the car. She said the only injury was a bloody nose. Something doesn't seem right about this part of the story and I wonder if my wife has the facts right. She also said that the woman ran the same route the very next day and the man came after her again. I could not find anything in the paper about this second attempt.
Be careful out there people!
