It's amazing to me how much easier a run feels when you've been there a time or two.
Great group for such a chilly trot.
It was freezing yesterday, but once we hit the homestead trail, I was in heaven.
I definitely found "going right" more challenging than "going left", and think it would be a great way to "shake it up a little" by selecting that route this year.
Hopefully, you know what I mean.
I was also amazed that our little make-shift connector trail was still relatively runnable.
I love these distances and look forward to the race in February.
Seems like lots of new members.
GUTS is going big time!
Happy holidays to all members!

I too want to thank you Jaydene for organizing the run yesterday. I had a great time and, as a newbie to the group, it was really fun to meet some of the members. Now if I can just remember their names....
Also, I owe you big time for the ride to the visitor center and the use of your cell phone. I guess the "pressure" of my first GUTS training run was just too great for my little brain to handle. Note to self: locking car keys in the trunk at first GUTS event is no way to impress the higher ups....
