I along with my 14 year old son Cody are hoping to race side by side through the streets of Augusta and crossing the finish line together. That is our plan. LOL. See ya there. I just don't know you by nickname.

Fourteen more days! I am so ready! I keep going back and forth between renting a wetsuit. Are ya'll going to wear one? It really looks like it will be allowed.
We are going to be swimming downstream in the Savannah River. With a wetsuit I think we can just float! ;D
I'm thinking about renting one from wetsuitrentals.com My choice is sleeveless. What are your thoughts??

Honestly, I don't really think it makes a difference. Just depends how good you are at getting out of those sleeves.

While a wetsuit definitely provides a slight performance advantage, I would not make a race the first time you swim in a new or rented wetsuit. Sort of like wearing a brand new pair of untested shoes for a marathon or ultra -- not a good idea. If you can rent a couple weeks in advance and get used to it, that would be ideal. Good luck in the race!
