I had a thought the other day about doing some first aid training. Having been support for a multiday event, and looking at crewing for someone in a few weeks at Pinhoti, I thought some first aid training might be a good idea.
(Yeah, I know...probably a little late to be thinking about it now.)
Besides the basic Red Cross course on giving CPR, have people done anything else? I was thinking being certified to give IV's may be handy. Of course, I have no ideas what that entails.
Way back in the day, when I was in the Army, I had a combat lifesaver course where we did stuff like IV's, treating broken bones, and stuff like that. But, that was almost 20 years ago, so some refresher is in order.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Recommendations?

I'd be curious to hear what anyone who took the WFA courses their say about them. (They don't give much details on their site.)
