Hey guys, Does GUTS qualify as a "non-profit organization"? GU has started a program that pays money for returned, empty, GU packets. If we started collecting these at GUTS events and if members saved them up during weekely runs and turned them in, and listed GUTS as the organization, we could raise a little money for beer trail conservation. Fom the site: "Stash Your Trash creates an incentive to keep trails and roadways clean of empty gel packet litter by pledging a $5 donation to the non-profit organization of your choice for every 50 empties you return to GU." Yeah actually i have been collecting mine. Be sure to make a little box or something for it because the GU ends up seeping out and getting crap all over EVERYTHING. Its really messy, but... it goes to a good cause. But it is kinda inconvenient if you use the bottles of hammer gel...
