Hey guys, Just a FYI - the Pinhoti 100 website is up and full of useful information. Here is the link: www.pinhoti100.com/You can see who has entered, check out the course map (complete with the location and elevation of the aid stations), there is also an Elevation Profile (that, combined with my painful run in the heat on Saturday, makes me wonder what the heck I was thinking when I signed up for this thing! LOL) BTW - here is the chart ... I'm not sure why it stops at 90 miles ... maybe Todd figures everybody will be dead by then so what does it matter what the elevation is! (Sarah, i wasn't sure if I should put this in the other Pinhoti thread or start a new one.)

I just read the course description. This elevation chart must be shifted a little to the left. In the written description, the course goes down Blue Hell at about the 40 mile mark. I wonder what is harder, going UP Blue Hell at Mile 28 of a 31 mile race, or going DOWN Blue Hell after 40+ miles of a 100 mile race? Unfortunately, I'm guessing the latter.
Note to self: Don't forget your flashlight. The Pace Chart has me starting down Blue Hell at about 6 to 8 PM.
2nd Note to Self: Try not cry like a little girl when the quads start cramping.
