greate race report. I'm glad to read that alot of people had the same issues and emotions that I did yesterday. It was crazy but a lot of fun.

I have been giving the experience a lot of thought, especially out there ON the trail, and have created a very convenient rationale for my beatdown: I have become too focused on my times. I always want to continue to improve, but not to the detriment of the experience. Perhaps worrying so much about getting a new and improved time created too much stress for me during a period of heat and exhaustion where I didn't really need the excess. Who knows, but it sounds good.

wow, that was brutal, any idea of actual distance of that 50K?? besides all the miles we got lost!

Anyone know if any photos were posted, there were some ladies on course taking some. It would be a riot to see them!

Kate - you would have had a blazing fast time if it wasn't for losing the trail down by the river.
still sore....
am I crazy that i cant wait for the next trail race? I think I might be hooked.

Thanks, i am still having trouble walking, i think i pulled a groin muscle!
I am IN for Hot to Trot. I am excited because now i KNOW i can run for 8 hours and i will NOT get lost!!!
