Kraaken asked in this post about preventing cramps. Managing electrolytes is key in preventing cramps and maintaining proper hydration. There are a lot of products on the market just for this. I prefer Succeed! Electrolyte Caps. Hammer also makes a similar product I believe.

I too, like Succeed or S-Caps......but I also take full advantage of the salty snacks provided at the aid stations...esp. Pringles and potatoes dipped in salt!

Jennifer, Yes, I've tried all of the Succeed drinks and am happy with them all. I honestly can't tell you why I switched to Ultra, but I think I did it back when they switched to Clip2. I preferred the old Clip formula. I'll probably switch back to Clip2 for my 100 in April, or Amino, as the proteins are key to my happy tummy.
