Does anyone meet for morning runs <during the week> at Kennesaw? Are those trails safe to run alone?

Hey newbie mtngirl, not at Kennesaw but several are doing 20 in Douglas Co. Friday morning if you care to join us. It will be scenic country roads(much prefer trails but this one is rd) departure time is 6:30am. Let me know if you need directions... jb

During the weekdays in the morning there are not a lot of people running at Kennesaw from what I've seen. No matter how safe it seems it's always best to use the buddy system. I would not want someone I cared for to run alone anytime.

I always see a fair amount of people running or walking the burnt hickory to cheatham hill loop mid morning weekdays (5.2 miles) You should not have a problem, but don't use an i-pod etc.. you always want to hear whats going on around you. And don't run by yourself when it is dark.
