Hey guys, They were handing out flyers for this run at the ING Expo. I figured I would post it for those folks, like Sally, that can't bear to run the Strolling Jim 40 Mile Run, because it is on paved roads, but who still want something fun to do on that weekend! The race is in Black Mountain, NC on May 3rd and 4th. The Blue Planet Run 24 is a five mile loop trail run. There are different lengths that you can choose from, including a 5-mile fun run and 6 and 12-hour relay challenges as well as the 24 hour "signature" event. You can run it as a relay (the team can be up to 10 people) or you run it solo (that's a good option for Sally!). "The Blue Planet Run 24 is one of the country's largest charity trail running series. All of the events' profits will be directly allocated using the Peer Water Exchange to create sustainable safe drinking water access in communities in Africa, Asia, India and Latin America." Here is a link to their website: blueplanetrun.org/bpr24
