Hi all! Just wanted to let you know about an event that Ragan and I are participating in this July in London. Trailwalker is a team event, where the team of 4 has to stay together the entire distance (ala Eco Challenge). It is a 100K "cross-country" style (some trail, some dirt road). We are competing with 2 other Montrail runners, Francesca Conte and Russ Gill. Check out the race at www.oxfam.org.uk/trailwalkerThe race is to raise money for Oxfam, an organization that works to overcome poverty and supports numerous projects in the world's poorest countries. Check them out at www.oxfam.orgAs a team we must raise 1500pounds as part of our entry. Here is a link to our team fundraising page. We just set it up yesterday, so we are still working on getting a clearer photo and getting a photo of our teammates Frannie&Russ. www.bmycharity.com/V2/teammontrailAny support is appreciated, thanks, Janice

Thanks everyone for your support and good thoughts during our run.
It was a lovely course. Classic English countryside. Much hillier and rockier than I expected, and thus slower (kinda like driving over there).
We could not have done it without Flo and her awesome adaptation to driving on the left and shifting with her left, and her crewing with my mom. They were both out there all day, and were always there and always upbeat...... even after we got lost for over an hour! That's a long story to be told some other time.
But we still won our division and finished before dark. ;D Our time was 14:42 and we were somewhere in the top 15 of 350 teams. cheers, Janice
