www.hopeformarrow.org/gmminfo.htmHere is another link with more information and preregistration. I've already registered. Heat, high altitude, uphill (finish is 1000 ft higher than the start), sounds like fun to me. ;D See you there!

If you have never run this, don't goto any pre-race meetings. They tell you so much that you can't do that it makes you wonder how the hell you're going to get to the finish line. Also, if you are not camping or sleeping in a car, be ready to be ripped off by all the motels in Boone. Have Fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hog

Yea, I agree hog. That whole crowd at the pre-race dinner is a little stiff for me. One yr me Dink and Craig A. rode the Harleys up and you would have thought the Hell's Angels had arrived the way some of them acted. ( I guess we did look and smell kind of bad) Anyway, there's a good KOA near Apppalachian State and some good local Italian restaurants as well. This is an ultra runner's marathon, about the only race I care to do on the road anymore.
