I need to get in a long run either Saturday night or Sunday morning, and I will have to run part of the run either after sundown or before sunup. I realize that Kennesaw Mtn. is technically closed after dark, but do I run (pun intended) the risk of getting into trouble, or do they not really care if one person is running around in the dark with a headlamp (a Petzl Tikka XP that I will be trying out for the first time). Also, should I not park in the spaces on Cheatham Hill Road since the park is closed? Any advice is appreciated.
P.S. I will NOT be wearing any GUTS gear (I don't have any, but I wouldn't if I did).

You shouldn't have a problem with either scenario. Just be sure to wear a headlamp so you don't run into any deer. I've parked at both Cheetam and Burnt Hickory for evening and morning runs, when the park is closed and have yet to experience any interaction with park staff.
Have fun.
