The details are still to be worked out but on 19 -21 May I am setting up a three day stage run near Dahlonega GA . Distances will be 20 - 30 - 20 miles more or less. Day one will be a dirt road loop with a couple big climbs and will start at 6 PM. Day 2 and three will be trail runs with AM starts. All will be self supported unless any participants can talk friends or family into providing aid. Anyone is welcome to come out for any or all days, just send me an email and what your intentions are and I will provide maps and details as they are worked out. This is strictly a training venue and not an organized event.

same weekend as Twisted Ankle Trail Marathon? may hurt turnout for this training run. Any chance to re-schedule. Sounds interesting. The Arkansas folks do something very similar, 3 DAYS OF Sylamo, but as a formal event. Mike

Sounds fun but a bunch of us will be running across The Big Ditch that week-end.

That seems to be a very popular weekend. Jim and I will be in North Dakota running the Fargo Marathon.
Have a good run!

Hey Richard, Originally planned to run the Twisted Ankle, but very interested after talking to some Memphis runners (total 5)who are interested too in this training your planning. A couple of questions...will there be some general maps to self guide our way thru the courses? And, Where in the Dahlonega area is base camp?

Mike,
Did you register for the Twisted Ankle? I waited too long and now it is closed. I'd be more than willing to take your spot, if you decide not to do it. My e-mail is slaugh4270@yahoo.com.
Thanks, Perry
