In 2003, I had arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a torn miniscus, and I am not sure it has ever healed correctly. I still have dull nagging pains, and limited range of motion. It doesn't effect my day to day activities but always starts to aggravate me more than usual when my weekly mileage gets around 35-40.
Has anyone else had surgery to repair a miniscus tear? Does it still give you problems? Any advice to deal with it?

I had it done to my right knee in 2008. Recovery was slow and difficult, mostly due to stubbornness and my impatience. Was told I would be running again 6 weeks. It took nearly 6 mos. before I was feeling like I could really tackle the trails again. But since then, I have been pleased. You may have some additional tearing. I guess an MRI would be the only way to know for sure. Good luck.
