I'm saving ton of money buying my shoes on e-Bay.
I have two different make/models of shoes that I buy and every few days scan e-bay these in my size.
I only buy new shoes and generally can get $80-$85 shoes for $39 to $45 dollars plus shiping. In all I pay about $50 on average and save $30+ on my shoe purchase.
Not sure if many of you are doing this but it really can reduce the cost of running shoes.
The people you buy from varies so be careful and check there e-bay records. So far I haven't had any problems. The shoes have arrived brand new in the box in a matter of a 4-7 days.
If you have a unusual size or model you may have to watch for a while before a pair is put up for sale.
But generally I can get men's size 8.5 Nike Air Pegasus at least once a week if I want to.

It's the Wal-Mart mentality of America. Just give me what I want as cheap as I can possibly get it. Who cares what happens to the local economy...
