Single track enthusiasts... For the past year I've been running at the new Settles Bridge Park in Suwanee about 1-4 times per month. There are a few miles of mulched trails, well mapped and marked. Also in the park are about 3 miles of single track that are not mapped or marked. I kind of pieced together some old mountain bike trails and game trails. Along with about a mile start on the mulched trails, and another mile out on different mulched trails, there's a good loop that's about 5 miles. The single track starts and ends at same place (there's a monument there at end of marked trails) so it's easy to do the single track part twice for about 8 miles. Part of the single track is right beside the Chattahoochee River. It's great run! I never see anyone on the single track except an occasional fisherman getting to the river. The park is dog friendly too and my dogs love it!
The single track portion is getting hard to follow as no one else runs it, leaves are covering it over, and it's not marked. I'd like to introduce it to some more runners so that more traffic will keep it visible/maintained. It would be great for mountain bikers too.
For anyone interest in joining me for a great new trail, I'll be doing some Saturday runs at about 9 am and maybe a lunch run on Tuesdays or Wednesdays.

I run over there occasionally, I know the trail you are talking about by the river. Maybe I will see you over there sometime. I have gotten about 4.5 by adding some of the piece trails onto the run.

The single track I run goes out the back of the mulched trails, kind of circles back up close to the school then back down to the river before making it back to the monument. Anyone can email me at rpink729@yahoo.com to set a time to run there ect.
