Using the string method of measuring on the North GA. Wildlife Management Area Map. I estimate that the trail distance from GA-60 @ Skeenah Creek (BMT/DRT) to Woody Gap is;
Upper Half Loop 22-23 Miles Lower Half Loop 21-22 Miles (Amicalola to the BMT @ 60 is around 26.2 miles)
I've read that some say the loop is 50-60 miles but I haven't seen any GPS data to verify that.
Now I'm not ready to do the whole loop without checking the two halves first. (map out water sources, difficulty, measure). I know that a 3L hydration pack is good for 25-30 miles (depending on the heat). I'm also looking into drop-off transportation from Woody Gap out 60 to the BMT/DRT.

this whole loop is ~50 miles, with ~18,000' of gain/loss (kind of alot!) scott brockmeier and sue johnston ran it in april, it took them 16ish hours IIRC.
the trail conditions were very good.
for comparison, the entire GA section of the AT is 76 miles and has ~20,000' gain/loss.
