hi,
I just rescued an australian sheppard mix from Floyd Animal Control Shelter. She was abandoned and was going to be euthanized next day.
She is a very athletic dog and loves running. She is very friendly and docile. She has had all the shots and been neutered.
I am looking for a good home where she can be part of your training sessions.
I can't keep her as I have had fibromyalgia since 2006 and had to give up running. ( I am an old GUTS member).
If you are interested I can send you photos.
thank you very much
Anna Bouzyk

Anna, kudos on rescuing a puppy! Susan Lance has a new Australian Sheppard mix and says it makes a great running partner! I'm still trying to get our new beagle/jack russell/possible border collie/possible spaniel mix to run with me. It's a challenge right now ... depending on which breed has control of her brain that day. Good luck finding a home for your pup.

Unfortunately I already have a great canine running parter (resuced 4 years ago!), but I work at Emory and can also spread the word -- I am PMing you my email address.
