I am heading up to run the fabled "Meat Grinder" on Sunday Oct 18. Figure on starting out from Park HQ around 7:30am. I'm not fast but I am stupidly persistent. Anybody interested just drop me a line . Thanks Dan B

Dan,
7:30 ish in front of the visitor center works for me. I will call you to discuss in the next few days or so. I have run the Grinder 3 times and hiked it twice. Looking forward to Sunday ... I need the hill work big time.

Hey Dan,
If you're definitely planning on going up this Sunday (25th) I'm interested in joining you. I've never done this trail but having done the MMM the other week I think I can handle it (albeit at a moderate pace). The only caveat I have is that I have to be back home in Duluth @ 2:00ish so I'd need to make sure I'm headed back a little before 1. My cell is 770-595-0223. Will be a good excuse to get in a hard workout....!
