Part of this discussion came from talking about the new fee for the Resolution Run on New Years Day. It has always been free to members, but they are trying to "enhance" the race and will now be charging $22. What do you think? Maybe ATC races don't interest you, but they have a lot of them, AND....AND, they have potential to have races that the likes of us WOULD be interested in running. But we gotta let them know what we think. This is from a concerned GUTS member (not me although i agree): Many changes at the ATC are receiving mixed reviews. Membership costs, board elections, race entry fees, etc., etc. The latest thing being considered is the elimination of the Marathon because it isn’t “big” enough and only draws a little less than 1000 entrants. I urge any one who has an opinion to let the track club know. The executive director’s phone number and email address are at their website. It’s your duty. Here is the Executive Director, Tracey Russell’s contact info: trussell@atlantatrackclub.org This link gives all the ATC’s contacts: www.atlantatrackclub.org/contactus.htmHere is the board member page. Note: It has not yet been updated since elections. They don’t give out individual board members emails, but you could use this one and address it to someone specific - boardnominations@atlantatrackclub.org www.atlantatrackclub.org/boardmembers.htm

Thanks. I (finally) got around to joining ATC a month ago and am interested to know what changes are in store.

Slightly off topic here, but I need to know before I email the Director ... How can I tell if I renewed my membership? I remember us talking about it on a GUTS run. I remember intending to do it. But I don't remember doing it. The Wingfoot magazine I just received doesn't have a date on it, so it could be my last issue. I looked on the ATC website and I don't see anything there either. I don't see anything on my checking account charges either, but it would be easy to miss in all the debit transactions.
So ... how do you tell?

If you think you may have used active.com to renew, you can check their website (log in, and check your recent transactions/receipts).
