Hi all,
If you are looking for some great trail runs this spring, please check out our four race series. We offer a long (9-10 mile) and short (4-5 mile) course at each event, as well as a free kids race. If you competed in either of our trail runs last year (Sutallee Trace and Assault on Pine Mountain), we have taken your suggestions and worked hard to come up with even better events for you including guaranteed wicking T-shirts for all registrants, chip timing, earlier start times, more support and sponsorship goodies, post race snacks and of course a free kids race at all events.
Race Dates are as follows:
March 10, 2012 - Assault on Pine Mountain, Cartersville, GA
April 14, 2012 - Battle of Allatoona Creek, Acworth, GA
May 26, 2012 - Sutallee Trace Trail Challenge, Canton, GA
June 16, 2012 - Rope Mill Adventure Run, Woodstock, GA
I have personally designed all these courses, and they are a great mix of varying terrain. From reaching the summit of Pine Mountain, opening it up at Allatoona Creek, to wading through Little River at Rope Mill, we have an event for you that is sure to please!
Details on the race series can be found at:
www.mountaingoatadventures.com
You can register online, by mail, or in person at Natural Strides (recommended) in Woodstock, GA. The first 80 who sign up in-store at Natural Strides will receive a bonus pair of Swiftwick Aspire socks at race check-in. If you sign up for the entire series at once, you'll also receive a pair of custom Swiftwick socks and a Headsweats hat or visor.
We have a great list of sponsors for these events, including Natural Strides, Integra Chiropractic, the Garage Games, Firebreather Challenge, Mix1, Emergen-C, Brooks, Altra, Merrell Barefoot, La Sportiva, Inov-8, Tecnu Extreme and GU.
Awards will be presented to the top 3 overall male and female in each race, as well as the top three in each age group in each race. We have your feet covered with several shoes that we will be giving away as prizes and raffle/contest items.
Any questions, just let me know. I'd love to see some of you out there.
Thanks!
Lisa Randall
