The run didn't happen. I was there at 8 and waited an hour for the rain to pass. It didn't pass and started the rain harder with lightning. After 17 hours of mud and rain at the GRR i didn't need to run 8 more for fun. I have to work tomorrow so maybe next weekend?

I would like to get as close to 25 miles on trails this Saturday before I taper for SweetH20. I'd love to do Amicalola again but I think it's probably too far to drive. As it is a 25 mile run will keep me away from home for 6+ hours and to tack on 2 hours of driving...my family won't be happy with me. As it is I will be missing my son's soccer game (and will also miss his game on race day).
So, if anyone wants to join me this weekend at something a little closer to the city I'd love the company.

Jerry and I are going to try for 22+ at Sweetwater on Saturday, probably be there between 8-8:30...if you're interested.

Martha, I would have loved to. I have to do my run tomorrow, though, because my son's soccer game was at noon today and I'd never made it back in time if I went today.
I hope and Jerry had a great run - great weather for it. I am hoping I won't suffer tomorrow since it will be even warmer. Hoping that going out early will give me several hours of cooler weather.
