Remember you want the version with both the USB ANT Stick and the HRM.

I used mine for a long time. I Loved it. Still have it if you want to buy. Garmin connect works great. I moved to the 310 cause battery life 20 hrs and easier to see dysplay Dan B

if it is not the 405CX, and only a 405 they had a lot of problems with that model and that is why they came out with the CX model.

I have had some friends with the 405, they didn't really like the touch feature. I have had the 305 and then switched to the 310, I like it because of the long battery life.

Haven't heard many great things about the 405. Right now, you can get the 305 for $110 at Amazon. I have used the 305 for a while and like the accuracy. Not sure how well the heart rate monitor works as I have only used it a few times. If you insist on getting the 405, I know someone who is selling an open box item (not used).

I have had 4 different 405's, various problems with all of them. Finally got a 110, just perfect !!
