Any recommendations on shoes that should be worn for the race this Sunday? I wanted to get away with wearing my road shoes but I haven't run any of the course.

Road shoes will be fine for the course. I ran in road shoes last year and planning to this year.

May want to bring a back up. Course can be muddy on a couple of sections. And you hit that section over and over and over and over and over....

I probably would have hit my distance goal of 37 miles if I had only worn my Christian Dior Slingbacks....
